Crete is the largest island in Greece, and the fifth largest one in the Mediterranean Sea.

In Crete, you can admire the remnants of brilliant civilizations, explore glorious beaches, impressive mountains capes, fertile valleys and steep gorges, and become part of the island’s rich gastronomic culture. Crete is, after all, a small universe teeming with beauties and treasures that you will probably need a lifetime to uncover.

One of the must-visit places in Crete is Rethymno which is in the north end of the prefecture, built by the sea and is a city with many faces that you can you visit with one of our rental vehicles. Heraklion is the largest city of Crete and the capital and one of Greece’s major urban centers. The city flourished under a multicultural influence throughout the centuries. Heraklion is a great centre which anyone can experience the ‘’taste of Crete’’.

Chania is the second largest city of Crete (also spelled: Hania) and a place where different civilizations have flourished throughout the centuries. You can also stroll around the Old Town’s maze-like alleys with the beautiful Venetian mansions, the fountains, and the churches. Furthermore, Chania was the birth area of major politicians and artists. Another great area to explore is Agios Nikolaos (“Ag Nik” as the British visitors love to call it) is the capital town of Lassithi, which you can visit with one of our cars. Here, the bottomless salt lake Voulismeni dominates the area.
